Portrait of Tara

I've always been curious about design– how it can tell a story, and how it can effect how we experience the world. This led me to study psychology at Carleton University, researching the impact creative hobbies had on mental health.

After graduation I worked in animation production, where I saw firsthand how design is used as a tool to communicate and engage with others. After 5 years in the animation industry, I pursued my own passion for design by studying interactive media design at Seneca Polytechnic. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working on a wide range of projects, including brand identity, motion graphics, social media and marketing campaigns, web design, and digital products.

In my free time you can find me curled up with my cats, a good book, and a warm mug of tea.

As a multidisciplinary designer, I love turning ideas into stories through graphic, motion, and product design.
